Little Village runs a network of baby banks across London - collecting, sorting and passing on essential pre-loved, good quality donations in order to support families with young children under the age of five living in poverty.  The families that Little Village support are dealing with challenging circumstances, like homelessness, low wages, domestic violence and families who are refugees and asylum seekers. Families are referred to the charity by professionals such as midwives, GPs and social workers.  In addition to gifting donated items, where families need extra help Little Village offers this by connecting them with food banks and other organisations that support with issues including Universal Credit, housing and mental health. You can watch this video to find out more.
